Biostatistical Support

The CCTS Biostatistics Core (BSC) offers biostatistical support for health researchers at UIC. This support may be as limited as a brief conversation about how to approach your project. It may also be as involved as collaborating with one of our consultants on a multi-year study.

All collaborations with BSC start with a one-hour free consultation. After that, our services are available at an hourly rate or as part of an ongoing memorandum of understanding (MOU) agreement. View information about the consulting process and costs on the CCTS website.

Support By Project Phase

Most studies or trials go through four phases: 1. Planning and design; 2. Data collection; 3. Data analysis; and 4. Conclusion and publication or dissemination. BSC services are available at each phase.
